Work at height

Headteachers and premises managers should identify work activities that may present a risk of injury to somebody if they were to fall from height. When doing so, consideration needs to be given to infrequent as well as routine or regular activities.

The Work at height compliance code P631 must be used to plan work at height activities, including selection, use and maintenance of the equipment used - ladders, tower scaffolds etc.
